Next Lecture: Tuesday Sept 12 730 PM "What's New in Stroke 2017" by Dr. Gary Bernardini who is chair of Neurology at NYP/Q and a nationally know expert on strokes.
Benefiting the community since 2011, "Navigating the Medical System" presents a monthly lecture on a general medical topic, usually on the second Tuesday of each month from September to June, calendar permitting. The talks are given at the level of the medical consumer. Some of our forthcoming talks are on diabetes and diet, what's new in Heart disease and Palliative Care Medicine.
The speakers are generally faculty members of Weill Cornell Medical College who work at New York Presbyterian Queens and often are chiefs of Service. The medicine is always evidence based. Our speakers stay to answer many questions and have uniformly been impressed by the quality and erudition of the questions.
